- Mission Statement of the school - Growing together, preparing for Life
- School values - Respect, Tolerance, Forgiveness, Courage, Perseverance, Friendship
The School aims to develop self-motivated, self-controlled and responsible individuals. Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
The school aims to provide sound academic foundations upon which each child can later build, according to their needs and interests. Our curriculum is relevant to the needs of children entering a changing world, allowing them to proceed at their own pace whilst providing for the development of individual talents and skills.
We want you to enjoy coming to school, and to have a good time whilst you are here. If you are happy, you will enjoy learning and do well. We want everyone in our school to behave well, and to respect other people's opinions.
We want you all to work hard at all times - even when you find things are difficult. Always do your best. Everyone is different, and we all have subjects we really enjoy and do well at. We want you to excel at the things you enjoy and to get better in those subjects which you find a challenge.
When you leave our school, we hope you will have fond memories of the friends you have made, the adults who helped you and the work that we did together.
